This is our first FULL week of kindergarten and I know the students will love it. We will have our first Character Assembly of the year with Mrs. Swanson and I think she has a pretty exciting message in store for us. (Hint: this year's Character Theme is "Team Shirley Hills"). We will also begin starting to learn and focus on the letters Mm and Ss in handwriting and reading the sight word I with our first theme "All About Me." We will also learn some new vocabulary words: ability, talent, confident, complained, encourage, and reverse.
In Math we will be reviewing concepts in the next two weeks such as shapes, directional words (i.e: right, left, above, below) and sorting objects by color, size and kind.
I'm looking forward to a great week!
