We are starting a new theme this week in Language Arts called "Whatever the Weather." The students will be learning about different types of weather and how weather changes on a day to day basis. We also started working on ten frames in math last week. Ten frames are how we teach the students to show the value of numbers 10-30 using groups of frames with 10 spaces in each frame.

In language arts we are starting a new theme that will last the next three weeks. The theme is based upon the weather. We will be talking about many different types of weather and reading various books about the weather.

In math we are working on numbers 10 - 30. The students will continue to learn how to group numbers using ten-frames.
