Star of the Week!: Eyan will continue to share the three days of school this week because he missed three of his sharing days last week.
Sight Word Being Introduced: his
During our three days of school this week, we will be doing some fun winter projects, reviewing some of the letters & letter sounds we have already learned. Along with reviewing sight words and expectations for our centers and reading groups.
The students have gotten off to a great start with their medallions and are loving the chance to do them.
We will also continue to work on symmetry and finish up Chapter 5 in Math this week because our day off last week changed our schedule a little bit.
As the weather has gotten a bit warmer, hopefully the students will get to go outside this week. Thank you so much for sending all of the students' warm gear each day - it is MUCH APPRECIATED!!
A few requests:
- We are out of snacks for students who may forget every once in awhile. If you could send in one box of crackers, Cheez-its, graham crackers, fruit snacks, etc. that we can keep in the classroom, this should help us get through until the end of the year - thank you!
- Please don't forget to send in your conference slips with your 1st and 2nd choice of when you would like a conference for your child towards the end of February.
