Our first month of school went by so fast! Just watch, June will be here before we know it and we will wonder what happened to the year!! We will be starting a new reading theme this week and we will be talking a lot about ourselves and our families.
Monday, the students will be attending their first Character Class with Mr. Eidsness. The theme of this class will revolve around anti-bullying.
Tuesday, we will be going on our first class field trip to Deardorff Apple Orchards in Waconia. We are so excited! Let's just cross our fingers for good weather.
This week is also Homecoming week for the Westonka School District. On Friday, your child is invited to dress "all-out" in spirit wear in honor of the BIG GAME on Friday evening. IF you and your child would like to be apart of the Homecoming parade from Hilltop to the High School on Friday evening, please arrive at Hilltop around 4:45pm... the parade will begin at 5pm.
