Schedule for the Week of January 3-7, 2011

Hello! Happy New Year and welcome back after a nice long break! Thank you, thank you to all of you for the gifts you gave to our classroom and to myself for the holidays.... you were all very generous - thank you!
I hope you all enjoyed your time-off and are now ready for the New Year! I am excited to be back and see everyone and I hope you are too.

This week we will be jumping right back into the swing of things and even have a new Character Assembly Monday afternoon called "Caring Hearts" to kick-off the new year of 2011. For our "Caring Hearts" assembly, we will be learning how we can work together as a school to raise money to help children whom are born with heart defects.

Here is a glance at our schedule this week:

• M - Computer & Art .... and we will celebrate Maeve's Birthday (which was over the long break)!!
  
• T - P.E. & Music..... don't forget to bring a nickel!
  
• W - Music & P.E. ....... don't forget to bring a dime! Today is also Media day, so please remember to return your library book!
  
• Th - Art ...... don't forget to bring a quarter!
  
• F - P.E. & Music ...... don't forget to bring a dollar and you can have your picture taken in the photo booth!
