Schedule for the Week of December 19-23

    Last few days before winter break!.......

    SPECIALS: (December 19 -23)

    Monday: Music/Art (Day 1)
    Tuesday: Media/P.E. (Day 2) - We will be doing some fun activities today! 
    Wednesday:  Art/Music (Day 3) - Pajama, Popcorn, Movie Day!  Have your child wear his/her P.J.'s to school!!!!!
    Thursday:  No School! Winter Break!
    Friday:  No School! Winer Break!

    Other News:
      • Since winter has made a grand presence, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE make sure your child has warm gear (hat, mittens, snowpants, boots and warm jacket) to wear outside. We do go outside every day. 
      • Please send Friday folders back every week (preferably Monday or Tuesday)

Schedule for the Week of December 12-16

The Holidays are upon us and we are exploring many of them here at school in the coming week! 

Monday we begin Holidays Around the World!  
Your Kindergartener will get to "travel" to all sorts of countries (other Kindergarten classrooms) to learn about winter holidays that are celebrated all around the world.  They will get the opportunity to learn about Germany, Holland, Sweden, Japan, Mexico, England, Israel, and the United States.  At the end of the week, your child will get to show you what they made in each country.  Fun! Fun! Fun!

In Reading:
Unit 3: Determine Text Importance/Identify Sequence of Events - Week 2 Objectives (December 12-15)

    • Next week (December 12th) we will begin to learn how other countries celebrate their holiday season!  The students will get to rotate to the other kindergarten classrooms and learn from Ms. Rasicot, Ms. Scherven, Mrs. Cotts, and then come back to our classroom and learn about Sweden and Japan. 
    • The last days before Winter Break:  Tuesday we will do fun projects/games in the afternoon!  Wednesday we will have a Pajama and Movie Party!
